Binnish Butt - President, CAMP-NY

Binnish Butt currently serves as the President of the CAMP NY chapter. She has been involved with CAMP since February of 2013, previously serving as the Director of Public Relations for CAMP-NY.

Professionally, Binnish has been in the sports marketing industry for the past decade, most recently as the Director of National Sales at Professional Sports Publications.  Her clients include an array of technology partners, telecommunication providers, and government & state health agencies nationwide.  She oversees strategic marketing opportunities/ campaigns involving the NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA, NASCAR, PGA, MLB, amongst others. Binnish attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she studied English & French.

Outside her CAMP activities, Binnish has been a Sunday School teacher at the Al-Hedaya Center for the past three years.  She is an avid fan of pre-historic Bollywood Music/ Ghazals and Victorian Literature, and enjoys freelance writing whenever time permits.

Sheeba Rahman - Vice President, CAMP-NY

Sheeba Rahman currently serves as the Vice President of CAMP-NY and has been with CAMP New York since 2013.

Professionally, Sheeba is a Medical Doctor with a specialization in Psychiatry. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. Sheeba has published literature for peer-reviewed medical journals, with a focus in Psychiatry and Neurology.

Sheeba actively dedicates time to community service by providing mental health awareness. She has given educational lectures/talks for the Islamic Center of Long Island and The Domestic Harmony Foundation. She has also led various Islamic halaqas (discussion circles) and youth groups.

Besides her professional interests, Sheeba enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking and kick boxing.
