Muqtadar Ahmed - President, CAMP - Chicago

Muqtadar has more than 10 years of experience managing and supporting large-scale engagements assisting clients with transactions, growth strategy and operations consulting. His experience spans financial services, energy, technology and manufacturing sectors. He currently works as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Prior to joining EY, he was a consultant at Accenture where he successfully led and supported several large-scale strategy and transformation projects.

Muqtadar was a founding member of International Leadership Forum (ILF) at Cornell, an organization whose mission was to provide a platform for distinguished leaders of developing and emerging countries to voice their perspectives on global events. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee at Islamic Dawah Foundation (San Antonio, TX) where he was the Director of Al-Bayaan, a local Islamic newspaper. Additionally, as a Johnson Board Fellow, he served as a Board member at Paleontological Research Institution (Ithaca, NY) where he advised the organization on restructuring organizational governance and on fundraising strategy.

Muqtadar moved to Chicago from Austin, TX in 2011. He holds a M.B.A. in Strategy and Finance from Cornell University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Herra Iqbal - Vice President, CAMP - Chicago

Herra Iqbal currently serves as the Vice President of the Chicago chapter. She moved to Chicago in 2012 and became involved with CAMP shortly after in 2013 in an effort to become involved with the Chicago Muslim community.

Herra holds an MBA and a Master's in Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and bachelors degrees in Human Biology and Economics from the University of California, San Diego. She currently works as a Research Administrator at Northwestern University, where she manages financial research portfolios for multiple hospital divisions.

Herra enjoys spending her time giving back to her community and developing new relationships with those around her. She hopes to grow professionally in Hospital administration—but if all else fails, she’ll be happy photographing and traveling the world.

Fazila Anarwala - Special Projects Officer,  CAMP - Chicago

Fazila Anarwala has been involved with CAMP since 2014. A Chicago native, she began as an attendee to events and transitioned to a volunteer early on. As a volunteer, she re-designed the CAMP Sponsorship brochure and solicited sponsorships for dinner events. On March 2015, Fazila officially became a Special Projects Officer, and continues to hold this title. As a Special Projects Officer, Fazila has been responsible for leading and coordinating speakers, sponsorship efforts, networking activities and assisting in other duties as needed.

Fazila holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from Lake Forest College along with a Marketing Strategy certificate from Cornell University. Her career has focused on Business Operations where she holds over 10 years of corporate experience working for top companies like W.W. Grainger, Kraft Foods and Underwriters Laboratories. To date, she has worked in many areas of business from Customer Service, Sales, Product Management, Finance and Logistics. Currently, Fazila is in the midst of enhancing her education and heading towards a career change.

Always determined to develop herself and keeping connected with the community, Fazila has been involved in organizations besides CAMP. She held the offices of VP of Public Relations and Secretary for Toastmasters International in 2013 and 2014. She has volunteered for CAIR Chicago as well as IMAN. Aside from community affairs, Fazila’s real passion lies in the creative arts and culture. She writes poetry, can draw by hand, has an interest in photography, loves to event plan and travel.

Uzair Ali - Officer,  CAMP - Chicago

Uzair Ali currently serves as an Officer of the CAMP - Chicago chapter. He was previously an officer from 2012-2013, and a member before that.

Uzair studied at the University of Michigan, where he earned both his Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering and his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He currently works at Citrix Systems, where he is a Senior Consultant in the field of Virtualization Technology and Cloud Computing.

In his free time, Uzair enjoys volunteering, reading, the outdoors, movies, and spending time with family/friends.
