Asma Hashmi - President, CAMP - Chicago

Asma Hashmi currently serves as President of the CAMP - Chicago Chapter. Intermittently since 2004, she has held various Board positions as well as serving as an advisor.
Asma has over 12 years experience in the human resource and recruiting industries, where she has worked as an independent consultant for several Fortune 500 clients. Her expertise includes recruitment process outsourcing, account management, organizational development, career counseling, and performance improvement.
She was a Founding Board Member and Director of Personal Development for the Muslim Women’s Alliance (MWA); while also being actively involved with Inner-city Muslim Action Network (IMAN), a community-based nonprofit and was one of the organizing leaders for the urban festival Takin’ it to the Streets.
Asma is currently completing a M.A. in Human Performance Improvement at Roosevelt University and has earned a B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University.
Tawfiq Farraj - Vice President, CAMP - Chicago

Tawfiq Farraj currently serves as the Vice President of the CAMP - Chicago chapter and has been with CAMP Chicago since 2010.
Professionally Tawfiq is an admissions advisor at the Keller Graduate School of Management. Previously, Tawfiq was a Financial Representative for Country Financial in Chicago where he closely tailored financial plans for individuals.
On behalf of CAMP - Chicago, he also devotes his time to working with the Jewish Muslim Community Building Initiative for Café Finjan and Iftar in the Synagogue in order to foster stronger community ties between the Muslim and Jewish populations in Chicago.
Tawfiq earned a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Illinois. He is currently earning a Masters of Financial and Accounting Management.
Nazia Husain - Secretary, CAMP- Chicago

Nazia Husain currently serves as secretary to the CAMP-Chicago chapter. She has been a part of CAMP-Chicago since 2011.
Nazia has a background in marketing and is currently working at Witt/Kieffer, an executive search firm for healthcare and higher education companies. She works to develop marketing campaigns including social media and sponsorships at national and regional conferences and meetings. Previously she was working in the media industry for a lifestyle and business magazine in Madison, WI. She is currently pursuing her MBA at DePaul University in Integrated Marketing Communications and Strategic Global Marketing. She did her undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Nazia has been involved in various organizations professionally, including local young professional organizations and charities. She is a strong proponent of empowering the community professionally.
