June 3, 2010
Dear CAMP Members and Supporters,
Assalamu Alaikum!
We hope that you are all well and had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. As we move from Spring to Summer, the weather is heating up, and so are our preparations for ISNA.
We hope to see many of you over the July 4th weekend at ISNA in Chicago!
CAMP in the News
I was asked to submit a guest post for the Washington Post's On Faith blog on challenges and opportunities facing the Muslim community. My piece aligned with CAMP's philosophy of choosing to be proactive over reactive was featured in the June 4, 2010 edition of On Faith. Please read it here. The voices of Muslim professionals are critical to the Muslim American narrative; we hope that you will help us spread the word.
CAMP@ISNA 2010
ISNA is big on our 2010 agenda and so we would like to start by inviting you to join us at ISNA. We are excited to be the CAMP philosophy to ISNA and the CAMP experience to you. If you would like to present your business plan or elevator pitch at the entrepreneurs’ showcase, or If you would like to volunteer to assist us at ISNA please email us for more details at info@camp-online.org.
