Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, Author of "Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet," is starting the Green Deen movement in Brooklyn with an event called "Green Your Deen in the Garden."

Co-sponsored by Green Thumb,  World Faith, CAIR-NY, and CAMP-NY, this is a community service project to prepare a Bed-study community garden for winter.  Come build a shed, plant bulbs, beautify tree pits, and get to know folks from other faiths who are interested in protecting the planet.

Meet at the Magnolia Earth Tree Center, 677 Lafayette Ave. 10AM, Saturday, November 13th. Take the G train to Bedford or A,C trains to Nostrand. Dress warm & comfy.
