There are times in this world when the awesome needs to be brought. At those times you call Jameeleh. She has a steady supply of "awesome", "happy", and "hell yeah!". She doles these out in between the times she's not fighting crime and feeding orphans. While residing in this dimension, she got her BA from Columbia College, she also saved a baby from getting hit by a train while doing several internships, including Fox News, Towers Productions, Judge Mathis, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. After fixing the hole in the Ozone layer, she freelance wrote and produced in the Chicagoland area. She then discovered the secrets of trans-dimensional travel while she worked as an Associate Producer for Direct Spotlight Media. While she was training to be a Chinese acrobat, she wrote several episodes of the Fairway Gourmet on PBS. She has freelanced at FLUID (www.fluidcontent.com), August Jackson, and DraftFCB. She most recently worked for the The Colbert Report in New York and was Associate Producer for Cedric's Urban Circus with Cedric The Entertainer and a copywriter for Blue Chip. This statement is true. She has retired from crime fighting but continues to feed orphans.
Khaled was born in Texas to (mostly) Palestinian parents and raised in Indiana next door to his Lebanese grandmother. He brings a fresh, smart perspective to comedy because of his experience as the child of immigrants living the culture clash between Arab cultures and being a first-generation Arab American. His comedy focuses on lived experiences, stories of a family that settled into a predominantly black neighborhood & the impact on his childhood and also incorporates his outside the box interpretations of human behavior and motives. Khaled currently resides in Chicago and has performed at a wide range of comedy clubs in the US and Canada. He is the creator and co-founder of Arab-issh as a platform for the next generation of "brown" to "cafe olé" comics on the local, national and international stages. Arab-issh uses a variety of forms and flavors including stand-up comedy, sketch comedy and comedic writing as methods for comedic expression. Arab-issh also works to cultivate and encourage new talent across the US and Canada.
