This workshop aims to review trends in the philanthropic sector, specifically related to the Muslim community, as well as lessons all nonprofit leaders should know about developing a sustainable fundraising model. The workshop will more specifically address:
- How to adopt best practices around development and fund raising for non-profit sustainability
- How donors can think more strategically about their investments in Muslim communities. The workshop will specifically highlight innovative efforts in the philanthropic sector, including existing foundations collaboratives, which specifically address Muslim communities.
This workshop is organized by the American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute, with an introduction by the Council on the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP).
