Join us for dinner and our final general networking event of 2011. In addition, we'll be discussing an important topic for many as we enter the new year--Strategic Career Planning.
WHERE: Teaism -- see http://www.teaism.com/Restaurant/PennQuarter7.html. The location is Metro accessible—a 2 minute walk from the Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter station (accessible via the Yellow, Green, Orange and Blue lines) and a 5 minute walk from the Gallery Place/Chinatown station (Red, Yellow and Green lines). In addition there is limited street parking and 2 parking garages within a ½ block.
COST: The $5 event registration fee will be collected on-site. In addition, the restaurant is providing free reserved meeting space for us with the expectation every attendee will be buying dinner (an average cost of $8).
AGENDA:
* 6:30 to 7:00 -- Arrive, get dinner, and mingle
* 7:00 to 7:30 -- Presentation on "Strategic Career Planning" and interactive group discussion
* 7:30 to 8:00 -- Individual introductions and Entrepreneur/Executive company overviews
* 8:00 Onwards -- Networking
Please note the event timing allows for prayers beforehand. The restaurant does not have adequate prayer space.
